Return home for funeral

Near the last of our mission we needed to return home for Karen's Mom's funeral

We felt fortunate to see and communicate with Karen's mom while she was in the hospital after her stroke.   When she passed away, we hurried and got tickets to return for the funeral.

Yvonne Mackenkie is 99 years old.  Her father faught in the  Spanish American War

 Foni is one of our pickle ball friends.   We are enjoying a little Tip Top ice cream

Family trip to Savaii

The family took the ferry to the island of Savaii (the real Samoa)

 Blow holes - a guy threw a coconut in and it shot up in the air 

 Canopy Walk - you go up the stairs to the suspended bridge and off to the Banyon tree to see above the other trees.

Everyone enjoyed pizza after a day of swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddle-boarding. 

 A few guys gave us a free fire-dance as they practiced.
